CECRC conducts different kinds of programs to help eradicating avoidable blindness. Type and extent of program varies time to time as the situation permit. Some of the programs those CECRC often conduct are as below:


Outreach Programs

Beside routine OPD (Out Patient Department) program, CECRC conducts Outreach programs. In that, PSP (Patient Screening Program) team from CECRC arranges camp in the field at different locations at different time to take to service to the doorsteps of the destitute ones. Upon screening, once found that the patient needs support specially support for cataract surgeries, support is extended by CECRC based on the situation analysis.

Bangladesh District Eye Care Programme - Vision Bangladesh

Currently CECRC and Sightsavers UK jointly working as partner to extend free and subsidized cataract surgeries under the District Eye Care Programme - Vision Bangladesh.

Awareness Building Programme

Occasionally CECRC conducts seminars and observes World Sight Day to develop awareness about the avoidable blindness. 

Free Eye Care Services

CECRC provides free eye screening services to the school kids
